The folks over at GTV Hacker got a good kick in the pants when they recently discovered an easter egg dedicated to them in the recovery binary of the Logitech Revue. The message, which needed to be decoded from rot13 reads as follows:
@gtvhackers congratulations if your reading this please post a note on your forum to let me know

As you can see from the above screen shot of the message in context, its followed by a listing of their names. Kind of a fun way for the GTV Hacker team to be immortalized–way to holla at a hacker, Logitech.

Better late than never, right? Our friends over at The Google TV Show recorded episode four last week featuring our good pal Ashley Esqueda, which we’ve taken the liberty of embedding for you. You can also check out episodes one and two here, and in case you missed it, yours truly was featured on Episode three.
Continue after the break to check out episode four.
New York’s Host with the Most Praneet Kailey did some great Logitech Revue and Google TV PR yesterday at the set of the Today Show, handing out shirts and discussing the Revue with Meredith Vieira and other Today Show personalities. From Praneet’s blog post:
Not only did our lovely team distribute hundreds of T-shirts, we got a lot of the crowd to put them on immediately, AND we even got a few into the hands of the Today Show hosts and staff themselves. As if that wasn’t exciting enough, I held a conversation one on one, one by one, with Matt Lauer, Meredith Vieira and Al Roker, explaining what the Logitech Revue with Google TV was. They loved it! We were a hit!
Some video clips are coming soon, but for now you can check out the photo gallery of what looks like a very successful day promoting Google TV.

The Google TV Show has released Episode 2 of their new Google TV video podcast, which features great insights and analysis into the Google TV platform, hardware, apps, and much more. You can check out the latest episode after the break, and in case you missed episode 1, you can check it out here.
Also, I would like to take the opportunity to announce that I will be joining in on the next episode to talk a little bit about the site, and chat about Google TV in general. There will be other special guests in upcoming episodes, including former Host with the Most finalist and now Logitech blogger, Ashley Esqueda.

Last Friday night, New York’s Host with the Most Praneet Kailey hosted a Halloween Event, which featured a demonstration of the Logitech Revue complete with a Q and A. Unfortunately we couldn’t be at the event in person, but that didn’t stop us from making an appearance thanks to the Logitech TV Cam.
Yours truly was not on hand, but occasional author and key contributor to our new site design Trent Lapinski took the call and helped show off some of the features of the TV Cam. Trent was a big help, but I think everyone was more interested in Kyra the Daschund, but can you blame them? You can check out some footage from the event, which includes an exclusive guest appearance by my living room, in the video embedded below.
I came across a new web show today called The Google TV Show, which as you might have guessed, is focused on Google TV. The first episode was just published a couple days ago, and is about 40 minutes in length, covering both the Sony Internet TV Blu-ray player and the Logitech Revue. They offer some great examples of different ways to use the devices, as well as some excellent insight.
I highly recommend you check it out, so continue reading after the break for the embedded video. Continue reading »
Do you live in, or plan on visiting, Los Angeles, San Fransisco, or New York City? Well, if you’re interested in attending a Logitech Loft party in one of these cities, you can RVSP to an event!
GTVHub was on hand for the LA Loft kickoff party, and it was a blast! If you’re able to go to one of these events, I highly encourage it.
Continue after the break for a list of the events currently planned in each city, along with an RSVP link.

Our pal, former “Host with the Most” contestant and current Logitech blogger Ashley Esqueda, aka AndroidAshley, has posted a video giving us her thoughts about Logitech and the Revue. I had a chance to sit down with Ashley during the LA Loft Revue kick off party, and she shared her excitement about working with Logitech and the great potential Google TV has.
She gives the same message in her video, which you can check out below.
This past Saturday (Oct. 9), I was fortunate enough to be in attendance for the Logitech LA Loft Revue kick off party, hosted by Rob Blasko. The event drew a diverse crowd of people from the tech and entertainment industries, as well as people who were simply excited to check out the Revue.
I must hand it to Logitech – the loft is simply stunning. It is open, inviting, and I honestly couldn’t imagine a better setting for showing off the Revue. Speaking of the Revue, the loft had two on hand for demo purposes, and there was plenty of interest amongst those in attendance.
Our good pal Rob Blasko is currently living it up at the LA loft (would we really expect anything less from a GTVHub interviewee?), and is getting some serious one on one time with the Logitech Revue. He uploaded a couple of photos to his Flickr account, and are plenty more sure to come.
In other news, we just got our invite to the kick off party this Saturday night at the LA Loft, so hopefully we can bring you some great photos (and maybe a video or two), so be sure to check back for that on Sunday. You can also follow us on Twitter for news from the evening.
You can check out a few of the photos below, which includes the packaging for the Logitech TV Cam, and the Revue itself, as well as a close up of the keyboard. Also, be sure to follow all of Rob’s antics as he blogs for Logitech.
