Do you want to see Google TV at next year’s SXSW (South by Southwest) festival? If you vote for their two panel ideas, you just might! The two ideas are titled “Designing for the Smart TV” and “Saving the Couch Potatoes: The Cloudy Future of TV“.
In the first talk, Michael Sundermeyer would discuss some of the research Google has done over the past couple of years and offer some insight into developing and designing beautiful TV apps. The second would focus on the heavy increase of mobile device usage while watching TV, and how to keep TV watchers engaged by designing mobile apps that work side by side with the TV.
If you want to see either of these talks at SXSW, be sure to go vote for Designing for the Smart TV and Saving the Couch Potatoes: The Cloudy Future of TV (a brief registration is required to vote).
