Yesterday we told you that Google TV was headed to Germany next month in the form of the Sony NSZ-GS7. Well according to homecinemamagazine.nl, the same device officially launched in the Netherlands today for 200 Euros. The article mentions that the number of apps in the Google Play store available to people in the Netherlands are limited, but that paid on-demand apps will be coming later.
In yesterdays post, we mentioned that the German version of the device would be missing the ability to search live TV, which is a fundamental part of Google TV. Today’s source does not mention that this will be the case in the Netherlands, but something tells me that it will be.
Residents of the Netherlands can order the Sony NSZ-GS7 with Google TV from the Sony Netherlands website here.
