GTVHub.com

Your source for everything Google TV

It usually doesn’t take a motivated hacker long to get their hands into filesystems, especially on Google devices. The Logitech Revue is no different, other than it may have taken a little longer for them to break in. Here, we see the Logitech Revue with Google TV being rooted, gaining full access to the GTV file system.

If you have a Logitech Revue, and are considering trying this at home, let this be a mild warning to you as it will take some hardware manipulation, along with a little patience, and a soldering kit. If it happens to not work as expected, there’s no turning back as you’ll need a new one unfortunately. More info is available at the source below.
