In coordination with the Google TV software update which was announced earlier today, Google has announced the release of their own mobile app for controlling Google TV remotely. The software looks pretty similar to the Logitech Harmony remote app, although Google has built Voice Search right into the app.
You are free to scan the QR code below on your Android phone (support for other platforms like iOS will come later) or search the Android Market to install the app, but until your Google TV receives the new update, the app will not find and connect to your device. We are still waiting on our update, so once we get it we’ll go ahead and write up a more detailed post about Google’s new mobile app for Google TV, so stay tuned. Also, in case you missed it, hit up after the break for the video demo of the app.

Harmony Remote APP has voice search built in as well. It is under the keyboard tab. I can only confirm this on the Android version.
