USA Today featured a pretty lengthy article about Logitech, and Google TV, after paying a visit to Logitech HQ to check out the Revue. USA Today’s Jefferson Graham got some one on one time with the Revue, as well as with Logitech VP Ashish Arora, who gave Graham a brief rundown of the device.
The article mentions that Logitech actually came to Google in 2009 with an idea for a partnership over video calling software. At that time, Google had already been working on Google TV for quite some time, and after being impressed with Logitech’s webcam and remote technology, established a partnership which led to the birth of the Revue.
The video also gives a glimpse of the Revue’s remote control, which features a clamshell design with a full QWERTY keyboard, as well as a D-pad for menu navigation. Check out the video for yourself below.
