Bonux, a company “dedicated in the development and marketing of the products and services for digital home and streaming media”, has announced a new Android powered set-top box planned for a Fall 2010 release. The box essentially scales Android for use on TV, and supposedly will play almost every media format under the sun. What benefits this box will bring, or why someone would chose it over a more functional device like the forthcoming Logitech STB, is unknown. Nevertheless, it is yet another option for those wishing to integrate the Web and TV.
