Put a link to google tv on the front page of Google.com !! 
Excuse me. Are we having a product launch here or a funeral, Google TV is receiving poor or no marketing at all from Google, Sony, Intel, and dish network., 
logitech is promoting its revue set top box but is that enough? 
Where is the marketing of the platform, the concept, the idea of Google TV since it’s the “greatest development of tv since colour television” as CEO eric schmidt said in the announcment ! 
Google TV is a great idea but it’s in danger of Google’s bad execution and bad business plan implementation. Partners like Sony and dish cannot be blamed as much as Google, who has billions of dollars of cash. And ironically Google is in the advertising business promoting other people’s stuff ! 
Google Tried some services which eventually failed but they do not seem to learn from the lessons and mistakes, how many of These services, failed because Google did not spend enough on marketing ? (I’m assuming here that poor marketing is due to being stingy, which most likely not the case with Google, it’s due to bad planing and assumptions). 
Here is an idea to promote without spending money or complex planing, 
How about Putting a link to Google TV’s page on the front page of Google.com with Google TV logo, it will get billions of hits and Google TV will be known to everybody in the world over night without nuclear physics marketing strategies !
